About Us

The Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) is a non-profit organization based out of Washington, DC. The CGC exists for the purpose of designing, developing and implementing green banks at the state, federal, and international level. The CGC also advocates for tax and finance policies that support investment in energy efficiency and clean energy. 

Who We Are

Our CEO is former FCC Chairman Reed Hundt. Joining him are Treasurer Monty Humble, Senior Vice President for Policy and Planning and General Counsel Ken Berlin. Skadden, Arps, Latham & Watkins and Covington & Burling serve as our Pro Bono counsel.
