Martha A. Duggan, Member of the Board of Directors & Managing Director
Martha A. Duggan serves as Managing Director at the Coalition for Green Capital where she is involved with each of the Coalition’s initiatives at the state, federal and international level. Duggan also serves on the Board of Directors of the Coalition.
Until 2011, Duggan served as Vice President, Government & Regulatory Affairs for United Solar, a US-based thin film manufacturing and project development firm. At United Solar she was responsible for developing and executing policy at the state, federal and international levels in support of further growth of solar markets. She was appointed to the Obama Administration’s first cabinet level trade mission and traveled to China with U.S. Commerce Secretary Locke.
Prior to joining United Solar, Duggan served as Vice President, Government Affairs at SunEdison, a large solar energy services provider. While at SunEdison Duggan managed a team of 5 solar policy experts whose mission was to expand solar markets in the United States and Canada.
During her 30 year energy career, Duggan has also worked at Constellation Energy, Reliant Energy and Washington Gas Light. In addition to her Board service at CGC, she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy and is an appointee to the U.S. Commerce Secretary’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Council. She has previously served on the Boards of the Solar Energy Industries Association, and the Solar Alliance.
